Our Wholesale warehouse operates year round!
- The wholesale market distributes local produce to small operations and grocery store chains. Cooling, grading, and packing add value to our locally grown fruits and vegetables.
- Hydro coolers, forced-air coolers, and ice machines keep produce fresh and ready for transport.
- The Southwest VA Farmers Market is GAP certified and assists farmers/producers with GAP and Food Safety Issues.
- The Southwest VA Farmers Market holds classes for Tow Motor Training and certification annually at the Wholesale warehouse.

The dock entrance is convenient for large trucks and tractor-trailers whether they are dropping off or picking up products!
Loads of fresh broccoli and other produce can be graded, packed, and cooled on-site before being transported to a supermarket or other chain store.Cooling is the key to freshness!
Grading, Packing, & Cooling Area
The Market grades and packs products for producers. The Market also stores produce and related items in one of our many coolers or bays for producers.
There is a small fee for these services.
Hydro-Cooling
The Market has Hydro-Coolers for use on Corn in the harvest season.
Corn is brought from the farm by producers and taken through the hydro-cooler to take our the field heat.
