When stopping by the Market Retail area you can visit the Carroll County Office of Tourism’s VISITOR’S CENTER for area information, events, and attractions.

The Tourism & Visitor’s Center is located in the DIRECT SALES (retail) Building of the Southwest Virginia Farmers’ Market.
Also onsite is the Carroll County Cannery, which is one few canneries left in the State of Virginia. The Cannery is located behind the DIRECT SALES building & Visitor’s Center.
The Cannery is open from mid July , through mid December from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. www.carrollcountyva.gov/government/cannery/ For more information or to schedule an appointment contact the Cannery at (276) 730-3285. Bring those ready-to-can fruits and vegetables over and make use of this facility to process them!
Carroll County Agricultural Fair
The Carroll County Agricultural Fair is held each year at the Southwest Virginia Farmers Market Fairgrounds in late August.
